Ybarra Passes Cello in Record Book: It was a very special day at BB&T Point Ballpark today. A day when Juan Ybarra of the Lancaster Barnstormers socked yet another home run in his storied career, this one toppling the all-time mark previously held by the great Lance Cello.

In his excitement, the new record bearer almost forgot to touch first base, his first base coach motioning him back. With the crowd going wild, Ybarra finished rounding the bases with an ear-to-ear grin. At the postgame press conference Ybarra said that he didn't realize he had missed first base in the heat of the moment until he saw his first base coach frantically trying to get his attention.

"I made sure I touched them all the rest of the way around," he said.

Juan Ybarra flied out in the 2nd, struck out in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and homered off Alex Medina in the 8th.

For the year Ybarra is hitting .211 with 28 home runs. His stats include 65 runs batted in and 56 runs scored.
