Wilson Headed for Retirement: Arthur Wilson said he's proud of what he's accomplished in professional baseball and he's now comfortable walking away from the sport.

The Flushing Chiefs catcher announced today that this season will be his last.

"It's Freedom 37," he joked with reporters. "I'm happy to get out now and am looking forward to enjoying retirement."

In 233 career games, Wilson has put up a .187 average, collected 32 doubles, 1 triple, and 27 home runs, driven in 88 runs, and scored 72 times.
