Message:
Williams Gets No-Hitter Against Hudsonville: Maine Sea Dogs starter Tyrone Williams came up big today at Sea Dogs Park with an exceptional 3-0 outing against the Hudsonville Flanderses. Not only did he whip them, but Williams held them hitless, too.

"My arm was a bit sore in warmups," confessed Williams. "Sometimes you go out there and you're not feeling all that hot. You get into the game and all of a sudden in the seventh inning you look up and see the scoreboard and think to yourself, 'Oh, my goodness, I have a no-hitter!' You're so focused on what you're doing, it just happens."

In the course of the no-hitter, Williams collected 9 strikeouts and surrendered 4 walks -- a day good enough to get his name in the history books.

In 17 starts this season, Williams has picked up 6 wins while suffering 4 losses. He has pitched 91.1 innings, allowed 65 hits, struck out 83 and posted a 3.45 ERA.
