Wild Card Clinched by Kettleers: The Cotuit Kettleers certainly made things interesting.
The Western Division club have battled to the bitter end and have come up with a wild card berth.
"It's satisfying to clinch the playoffs so late in the season," said starting pitcher R.J. Shaw. "You start to doubt yourself and wonder if you can even make it."
But the Kettleers have in fact made it, with their 20-26 record holding up to now give them a chance at the franchise's 8th Cape Cod League championship.
