Wild Card Clinched by Hit Kings: It wasn't quick or easy for the Evansville Hit Kings, but they have clinched a berth in the postseason.
While they couldn't capture the Herbert League Yale Division crown, the club has cinched up a wild card berth late in the season.
"You come close to not getting a chance in the postseason and it starts to worry you," said reliever Andy McDowell. "This is a huge relief for our guys and we're going to celebrate it."
The team will be looking for its 5th Bush League championship.
