Baltimore has worked out terms of a deal to send 21-year old minor league RHP Mike Wade to Tampa Bay for 32-year old LHP Rafael Palomino. Both teams expect to introduce their new players at press conferences later in the week.
Tampa Bay will retain a portion of Palomino's remaining contract.
On the season Palomino has compiled a 10-11 mark with a 3.91 ERA in 22 starts. In pitching 156.1 innings he has 144 strikeouts and 47 walks while limiting the opposition to a .233 batting average.
