Varo 5-for-5 for Ogden: Eriel Varo was sizzling at the plate today. In a game played at Ogren Park at Allegiance Field, the Ogden right fielder blistered the Missoula Osprey for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace his club to a 8-4 victory.
"Varo was too tough to get out today," Osprey skipper Max Brandes said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
