Vancouver could only muster 4 hits and take 1 walk against the right-handed Hooper, who controlled them throughout the game as Buffalo took the contest, 3-0. Hooper added 10 strikeouts in his complete-game effort.
"I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Hooper told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time."
