Vandals Blank Kashima, Johnson Winner: In a remarkable performance, Vancouver Vandals starter Alex Johnson beat the Kashima Foxes 8-0 in an impressive 1-hit shutout.
"My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this."
The Vandals hurler finished with 6 strikeouts and 2 walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball.
