Un-four-gettable: Minser Hits for Cycle: Bernard Minser punished the Texas Longhorns today, leading the Cowboys to a 13-5 win. In doing so, Minser hit for the cycle, tagging the Longhorns for 4 hits in 4 at-bats.

A player hitting a single, a double, a triple and a home run in the same game is one of the more unusual feats in professional baseball and typically happens only a couple times per season.

"Well, I didn't expect that to happen," the Oklahoma State center fielder said after the game. "I got some great pitches and I hit their mistakes."

Minser also had 4 RBI and 3 runs scored in the game at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.

Bernard Minser hit a two-run home run off Nik Antonides in the 2nd, hit an RBI triple in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 7th.

A look at his current stats shows Minser with a .322 average, 6 home runs, 36 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has played in 48 games.
