Tokyo's Strolz Takes Home GBC Batting Honors: Patrick Strolz was born to be a ballplayer.

Strolz, the 26-year-old Tokyo left fielder, really displayed his hitting ability this past season.

His .356 batting average led all Global Baseball Consortium hitters. He collected 220 hits, socked 22 home runs, scored 114 runs and drove in 111 runs. The GBC's top batter also played in 157 games, had 34 doubles, 8 triples and walked 37 times.
