Sydney Takes Governors Cup in Deciding Game: It went the distance, but the Sydney Wallabies finally disposed of the Amoco Torch 8-6 in the series clincher at Wallabies Field.

Winning the finale gave the Wallabies the series, 2-1. They will now advance to the Victory Bell.

The Most Valuable Player Award went to Sydney left fielder Fred Courtney. He batted .667 in the series, collecting 9 RBIs and scoring 5 runs.

"Fred deserves it," said Wallabies manager Gerardo Andrade. "He was the glue that held our club together."

The Sydney Wallabies will play against the Mumbai Tigers in the next round. Mumbai won their series against the Microsoft X-Sox 2 games to 0. The Victory Bell is scheduled to begin on March 10th , 2053.
