Swing! Swang! Swung! Hunt Smashes 3 HR: Seton Hall Rampage third baseman Jonathan Hunt had a magnificent game against the Washington State Palouse Knights today, rocketing three balls out of Ballpark of Washington State to help the Rampage take the 10-6 victory.
"I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Hunt went 4-for-4 with 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Seton Hall manager Armando Tapia said later. "Seems like Jonathan found his home run stroke today." Jonathan Hunt hit a solo-shot off Eric Moore in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Scott O'Day in the 4th, walked in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Steve Smith in the 8th. In 38 games this season Hunt is batting .181 with 29 hits and 5 home runs. He has scored 13 runs and driven in 16. |
