Sweet Sweep for Florida: It was a glorious moment for Flamingos fans today as Florida claimed the 2062 World Series title with a 4-0 victory at The Mound.

Jubilant Florida players swamped each other on the diamond after completing a dominant sweep of the Chicago Kingpins, as chants of "Thank you, Flamingos" reverberated all around the ballpark.

In the losing dugout, sadness reigned. Kingpins skipper told reporters it was "hard to describe" the feeling of losing in the World Series.

"Your heart is heavy, you are hurting -- it's a very difficult time," he said. "And to be swept is embarrassing. You just want to forget it ever happened."

For the Florida Flamingos, it was a season to remember. They finished the regular season with a record of 59-49, good enough for third place in the East Division. Then they topped it off by winning the World Series 4-0.
