Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl: Chuck Jones of the Yonkers Hounds and Alec Shaw of the Bayou Voodoo will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 8 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Hounds-Voodoo game at Swamp Bats Ballpark.

Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Jones and Shaw will begin serving them soon.

Presently Jones is batting .233 and has collected 10 home runs, 37 RBIs, .366 OBP and scored 39 runs.

This season Shaw has a 1-6 mark in 13 starts with a 5.74 ERA. He has given up 56 hits in 58 innings, struck out 44 and issued 34 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .258 batting average against him.
