Strachan silenced the Death Valley Burn, 4-0, in a Mexico City Diablos triumph at The Burn Yard today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Strachan said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 1 walk and 5 hits.
"It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else."
This year Strachan has a 3-2 record with a 2.86 ERA.
