As it turns out, the Eugene Sting are made of fight and tenacity, as the team got by the Fort Myers Capitals 8-5 tonight at Ballpark of Jersey City in order to win the Divisional Series and book a place in the next round.
"It wasn't hard to get excited for this game," said Bartone, whose strong offensive output earned him MVP honors. "Our guys answered the call and proved a lot about what our team is all about."
Bartone hit .333 with a .333 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 4 runs.
