The Continental Association awarded the trophy to him today in a press conference.
It was his remarkable 3-1 mark that brought the Philadelphia starter the Rookie of the Month award.
Lewis excelled last month with a 2.30 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 47 innings, fanned 10 and held opposing hitters to a .226 average.
This season Lewis has a 4-4 record with a 2.37 ERA.
