St. Louis-Houston Trade: Baranov for Daniel: The Baseball News Network is reporting that St. Louis and Houston have agreed in principle to a swap that will send 31-year old RHP Davion Pugin, 34-year old RHP Noah Bennett, 28-year old LHP Cayden Finnerty, and 29-year old RHP David Baranov to the Astros with 35-year old RHP Konrad Daniel, 35-year old 3B Kevin Adkins, and $2,356,000 in cash joining the Terriers. St. Louis general manager Scott Loehring would not confirm the trade, but a team representative close to the negotiations said the deal is official and is now only awaiting approval from the league.

St. Louis will retain a portion of Baranov's remaining contract.
Houston will retain a portion of Daniel's remaining contract.
Houston will retain a portion of Adkins's remaining contract.

This year Baranov has 25 relief appearances, saving 1. His record is 5-1 with 60 strikeouts in 48 innings and a 4.31 ERA.
