Springer Rips HR Number 400: It was a historic day in the life of George Springer. The 39-year-old Philadelphia right fielder recorded the 400th homer of his career in the Phillies 7-6 triumph over the Washington Nationals.

In the clubhouse after the game, Springer told BNN, "I was just looking for a ball to drive, and I got one."

Springer has compiled a career batting average of .259 with 1983 hits, 401 homers and 1138 RBIs.
