Shed Goes Hitless, Streak Stopped at 20: Consol second baseman Miller Shed experienced something against the AmGen Chemists he hadn't experienced a while: a hitless game.

The Chemists pitching corps quieted his hot bat and snapped his streak at 20 games, but his teammates picked up the slack to lead the Energy to a 2-1 victory at Apocalypse Ballpark.

"Hey, ain't nothin' bad about a losing a 20-game hitting streak," Shed joked with reporters after the game. "Now you guys will have to find someone else to bother for stories."

Shed's current batting average stands at .372 and he has chalked up 4 home runs and 22 RBIs.
