Setback for Brewers and Taylor Christofferson: The Milwaukee Brewers announced today that Taylor Christofferson would be missing for longer than expected as the 31-year-old starting pitcher recovers from a torn ulnar collateral ligament. "Taylor had been working out with the team recently, but felt some discomfort yesterday," the Brewers GM explained to the press. "After re-examining the injury, the team's medical staff decided that Christofferson would need extra time to heal. Their estimate is 15 months more recovery time."

Taylor Christofferson is expected to undergo surgery in Milwaukee(Wisconsin) tomorrow.
