Season-Ending Injury for Cory Boughner: The doctors have spoken and Cory Boughner of the Seattle Steelheads didn't like what he heard. The 25-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Boughner sustained his season-ending injury during the Fargo Red Hawks game yesterday at Spring Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Seattle medical staff reported Boughner had a stretched elbow ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 9 months.
