Schreiber Runs Hit String to 25 Straight Games: The number just keeps getting higher.

Hartford right fielder Ian Schreiber has now extended his hitting string to 25 games. He did it today with 3 hits in 4 at-bats as the Hartford took the 6-5 win over the Maine Guides at Samuel Stone Memorial Field.

"Who knows how long it will go on?" Maine manager Marty Kennedy said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now."
Ian Schreiber singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Trejean Rüstü in the 4th and hit an RBI single in the 6th.

Schreiber is hitting .339 this year with 17 home runs and 66 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .383, 30 walks and scored 52 times.
