San Diego's Abrams Will Miss Season: The San Diego Padres and their fans were rocked today by the news that star second baseman CJ Abrams would miss the rest of the season due to injury. Abrams was hurt in a recent game against the Arizona Diamondbacks while running the bases. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was a strained hamstring. His doctors think that Abrams will miss about 7 weeks.

To date this season Abrams is hitting .286 with 8 home runs.
