Rowdy Players Suspended by League: After an intense confrontation, both the Padres 1 Seth Keller and the Rangers Tyler Schweitzer were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent San Diego (AZL)-Texas (AZL) game. Seth Keller will miss 5 games, while Tyler Schweitzer was suspended for 10 games.

"Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Seth Keller commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play."

Keller is batting .258 this season in 35 games with no home runs, 13 RBIs and 13 runs scored. He has 25 hits in 97 at-bats.

Running the numbers on Schweitzer for the year, he has made 21 relief appearances, recorded 3 saves and compiled a 3-0 won-lost mark with a 1.30 ERA. In pitching 27.2 innings, he has totaled 17 strikeouts and 8 walks.
