Rocky Mountain Advances to Divisional Series: The fans in Rocky Mountain are delirious, while there is little joy to be found in Puhi.
The Rocky Mountain Oysters finished off the Puhi Dolphins 7-4 in the deciding game of the Wild Card played at Colorado Field.
They took the series 2-1 and will now head to the Divisional Series.
For his standout play, Rocky Mountain left fielder Sebastien Thompson was voted the series' Most Valuable Player.
He batted .500, drove in 7 runs and scored 4 to lead his club to victory.
"We could never really figure out how to pitch to Thompson and that doomed us," said Dolphins manager Jayden Crawl. "Hats off to Rocky Mountain, though. That was a great series."
The Divisional Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wild Card finishes.
