Message:
Robinson Spins 3-0 Shutout Against Toronto: Stu Robinson of the New Jersey Zombies was on top of his game today.

The 30-year-old tantalized the Toronto Maple Leafs with crisp curves and changeups, mixed in with just enough fastballs to keep the batters honest and came away with a 3-0 shutout.

"He had the changeup working," Toronto manager Canadian Creed said in postgame comments. "You knew it was coming and you still grounded out -- and then he threw it even slower."

The New Jersey hurler had 6 strikeouts, gave up 2 walks and surrendered 1 hit in his complete-game effort.

Robinson told reporters after the game that "keeping the ball down is the key to being successful in this league."

"If you don't do that, they'll make you pay," he said.

Robinson has gone 5-8 this season with an ERA of 5.05 and 74 strikeouts in 107 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .249 against him.
