Rivera Strokes 3 HR Against Cambridge: It was a good day for the Instituto Politecnico Nacional Mules and an exceptional one for Carlos Rivera. The 19-year-old center fielder sent three bombs out of the park to help the Mules beat the Cambridge Light Blues 10-0 at Cambridge Grounds.

"When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Rivera said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day."

For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 5 runs and smacked 4 hits in 5 at-bats.

Carlos Rivera hit a two-run home run off Hayden Stobart in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Hayden Stobart in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Ron Jevons in the 8th.

Rivera is hitting .340 in 2037 with 19 RBIs and 11 home runs.
