Ridin' High: Honts Hits for Cycle: Jack Honts accomplished one of the rarer feats in baseball today when he hit for the cycle against the New York Yankees in the 11-9 Texas Rangers win at Yankee Stadium.

Afterward, Honts acknowledged that his accomplishment was special, but said he was more interested in helping the Rangers win.

"Maybe one day I'll look back on this with more meaning, but right now I just want to go out tomorrow and put some good swings on the ball and help my club win another game," Honts said.

On his historic day, he went 4-for-5 with 2 runs batted in and 3 runs scored -- and also got a spot in the history books.

Jack Honts singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Josh Fisher in the 6th and tripled in the 8th.

Currently Honts has 15 home runs and a .311 batting average.
