Reliever of the Year Award Goes to Pérez: Jesús Pérez was a calming influence out of the Idaho Falls Chukars bullpen this season.
His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 24-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the M3L Single A Reliever of the Year Award for 2054. The San Juan, Puerto Rico native won the award with 10 saves in 33 relief appearances, 65 strikeouts in 47.1 innings and a record of 6-4 to go with his 1.33 ERA. He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Keith Medina of the Chicago Tula finished second in voting, while Bill Joseph of the Washington Generals finished third.
