Reds Carrillo Suffers Setback: Pedro Carrillo is hurting again, just a few days into his treatment for biceps tendinitis. Apparently the injury worsened, so the Reds sent the 34-year-old closer back to the doctors for reexamination. Carrillo told them that the pain had gotten much worse in recent days. It was confirmed that the injury was indeed much more severe that first thought. He was sent to a specialist, who felt that treatment would be longer than first diagnosed. Carrillo will now miss a minimum of one week.
To date this season Carrillo has 32 saves with a 4-2 mark and 1.55 ERA.
