Red-Hot Bat: Bagwell Collects Cycle: Florida State's Bailey Bagwell accomplished what few others have done -- he hit for the cycle, collecting a single, double, triple and home run in the same game.
For the day, Bagwell finished 4-for-6 with 4 RBI and 4 runs scored and helped the Seminoles knock off the UCLA Bruins 20-8 at Ballpark of Albuquerque College.
"I didn't even know I was about to hit for the cycle until after," Bagwell told reporters following the game. "One of the guys mentioned it when I got back to the dugout."
Bailey Bagwell doubled in the 1st, tripled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Jimmy Stawicki in the 6th, hit a sac fly in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.
So far this year Bagwell is hitting .246 with 4 home runs.
