Pride Ijsbert Reynoud Will Miss Season: The season is finished for Ijsbert Reynoud of the Hartford Pride. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Pride third baseman suffered a broken bone in the elbow while being hit by a pitch in a recent game against the Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds. Team doctors said it would take at least 5-6 months to heal.
This year Reynoud has batted at a .256 pace with 32 hits, no home runs, 12 RBIs and scored 14 times.
