Ports Not Competitive in 7-0 Loss to Potomac: Brenan Hanifee of the Potomac Nationals spun his magic on the Stockton Ports today. He blanked them 7-0 on 3 hits, registering 9 strikeouts and 2 walks.

"The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," Hanifee said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down."

Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, Potomac skipper Choo Freeman said the team "got solid pitching, good defense and took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations."

"Brenan pitched really well but this was a solid performance by everyone," he said.

Currently Hanifee has a record of 10-7 with 174 strikeouts and 67 walks in 162 innings and a 3.67 ERA.
