Players Suspended in Tigers-Red Sox Donnybrook: After an intense confrontation, both the Tigers Isaac Marshall and the Red Sox Kendrich Hartz were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Detroit-Boston game. Isaac Marshall will miss 4 games, while Kendrich Hartz was suspended for 6 games.

"Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Isaac Marshall commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play."

Looking at his present stats, Marshall has compiled a .298 batting average in 135 games with a .343 on-base percentage, while hitting 15 home runs and driving in 72 runs.

Over the season Hartz has thrown 173.1 innings and dished out 122 strikeouts with a 10-14 mark and a 5.30 ERA.
