Pilsudski's Hit Streak Over: Józef Pilsudski saw his 28-game hitting streak wither and die today during the Nashville Stars win over Indianapolis at Gibson Soundstage. The 31-year-old third baseman was held hitless in 4 at-bats by the Indianapolis Apex, but his teammates produced enough offense to take the game, 4-3.

"Am I disappointed about the hit streak? Maybe, just a little bit," a seemingly upbeat Pilsudski told reporters in the clubhouse. "But really, how could you be unhappy after you hit in 28 straight games? I'm just glad it lasted as long as it did. Life is good."
