Pepper of Hyannis Voted Top Manager in CCBL: A baseball manager's success usually depends on the talent of his club, but in the case of Ian Pepper, he seems to have taken the Hyannis Harbor Hawks to a higher level and gotten his just due. He was named this season's Manager of the Year in the Cape Cod League for leading the team to a very rewarding season.
"Everyone on the team put in a lot of hard work this season," he told reporters. "It's always nice when it's acknowledged in some way."
Pepper led Hyannis to a first place finish in the Western Division. The Harbor Hawks ended up with a 34-15 record.
