Paul Claims PIL Batter of the Month Award: Garrett Paul is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Death Valley first baseman joined that select company when the Pilsner announced the results of April's voting.

Paul totaled 17 hits, 7 walks, 7 home runs, 18 RBIs and 12 runs scored last month to put together a .354 batting average and .467 on-base percentage.
