Padres Trade Perez to Orioles for Hiura: Sometimes a change of scenery can be a beneficial to a baseball player. That is the hope in San Diego and Baltimore as the teams came to an agreement today which sends 25-year old LHP Andrew Perez, 36-year old LHP Caleb Thielbar, 19-year old minor league 2B Denzer Guzman, and 21-year old minor league LF Rodolfo Nolasco to the Orioles and 26-year old 1B Keston Hiura and 26-year old minor league RHP Wandisson Charles to the Padres. "Only time will tell if this is the right move for everyone," stated the Baltimore GM.

Baltimore will retain a portion of Hiura's remaining contract.
