Otters Advance to Round 2: The Evansville Otters triumphed 10-1 over the Washington Wild Things at Historic Bosse Field in the Round 1 to capture it 4-2.

The victory advanced the Otters to the Round 2.

For his superb play in the series, Otters first baseman Justin Head garnered the series MVP trophy, hitting .294, scoring 7 runs and batting in 8.

"Only thing better than getting MVP for winning in the playoffs would be winning MVP for winning in the Round 2," Head said later. "I'll get to work on that."

The Evansville Otters will play against the New York Boulders in the next round. New York won their series against the Sussex County Miners 4 games to 0. The Round 2 is scheduled to begin on September 9th , 2080.
