Northmen Get Zip in 10-0 Loss to Fritz: Randy Fritz dominated the Twin Cities Northmen with a brilliant 4-hit shutout in a Toronto Hurons 10-0 triumph at Twin Cities Stadium. The Toronto hurler fanned 10 and walked 1 in the game and was singled out for praise afterward by the opposing manager.

"He really kept us in check today," Northmen skipper G Maloney said in postgame comments. "Everything looked to be moving. Seemed like the pitch was right down the middle and it went over down and away. We took some pathetic swings."

Fritz has made 7 starts so far this year and put up a 4-1 won-lost record with a 3.61 ERA. In 47.1 innings he has allowed 39 hits, walked 14 and struck out 49.
