Norfolk Captures Pilsner East Division Crown: The Pilsner East Division crown was certainly in question throughout the season, but the Norfolk Captains have now finally claimed it.
With a record of 75-45, the club has won its 4th division title.
"It's special," second baseman Casey Courtney said when asked to sum up his feelings. "It's easy to take for granted what it's like to be on a winning team, but everyone who has ever been on a loser knows how sweet this is."
Team manager J.D. Rice said the focus will now shift towards getting ready for the playoffs, where the team will be trying to win the 3rd championship in franchise history.
