No Late-Season Magic Coming: Chandler HS Out of Playoffs: It's now time for the Chandler HS Wolverines to start turning their attention to what can be done to help improve the club for next season. The team was formally eliminated from playoff contention today for the 2059 season.
"We knew a title was a long shot at this point, but mentally there's a big difference between a tiny chance and no chance at all," said Wolverines reliever Isaac Freeman.
The Wolverines have missed the playoffs 23 times in their 34 years as a High School franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2057. In the last 10 seasons, the Wolverines have missed the playoffs 4 times. Chandler HS last won the HS Championship in 2052.
