New Orleans Loses Kaleb Shannahan, Will Miss Season: Kaleb Shannahan has to call it a season. The New Orleans Voodoo reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Pittsburgh Millers and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Shannahan was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a fractured coracoid bone in his shoulder and stated that he would not be able to play for 5 months.

Shannahan's record this season is 3-and-0 with no saves and a 1.50 ERA. He has given up 14 hits in 24 innings with 31 strikeouts.
