Nashville Advances to Semi-Finals: Nashville designated hitter Markus Reeves couldn't hide his reaction when asked about being named MVP of the Wild Card Round.
"It's a nice honor," he said, failing to suppress a wide smile. The trophy was presented to Reeves moments after his club eliminated the New Orleans Rougarous to advance to the Semi-Finals.
Nashville won the final game by a score of 12-7 at Full Moon Stadium and took the series 3-1.
"We won the series and that's the main thing," Reeves said. "They were a tough team and we didn't want to take anything for granted."
For the series, Reeves hit .412 with a .524 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 4 runs.
"He was tough to stop and that's a big reason they're there and we're here," said a dejected New Orleans manager .
