Mowbray Hurls 12-0 Masterpiece: The bats were ice cold today for the Minnesota Twins at PepsiCo Park. Indianapolis Clowns starter Kevin Mowbray kept the Twins cold all day, shutting them out in a 12-0 victory. In a fine outing, the 37-year-old hurler allowed 3 hits while striking out 7 and walking 2.
"I'm not quite sure what was different today," Mowbray admitted later. "I didn't feel like I was doing anything differently, but the results speak for themselves." This year Mowbray has made 20 starts, thrown 130 innings, fanned 98 batters and walked 27. His won-lost record is 10-7 with a 3.95 ERA. View Boxscore View Game Log Watch Highlights |
