Mounties Blank Roadrunners, Biggs Wins: It wasn't easy but the Vancouver Mounties made it look that way.

Starter Tony Biggs shut out the Phoenix Roadrunners despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Vancouver Mounties cruised to victory, 7-0. Biggs allowed only 2 hits and rang up 7 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win.

"It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up."

To date this season Biggs is 2-2 with 6 starts and an ERA of 1.51 with 26 strikeouts in 35.2 innings.
