Morales Launches 3 HR for Rays: DSL Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Víctor Morales had a magnificent game against the DSL Atlanta Braves today, rocketing three balls out of Atlanta Braves Complex to help the Rays take the 27-4 victory.

"I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes."

For the game, Morales went 4-for-5 with 4 RBIs and 6 runs scored.

"There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," DSL Tampa Bay manager said later. "Seems like Víctor found his home run stroke today."

Víctor Morales flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Edgardo Parra in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Geoff Griggs in the 6th, walked in the 7th, walked in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Edwin May in the 9th.

Morales is hitting .333 for the season with 39 home runs, 134 RBIs and 125 runs scored. He has 100 hits in 300 at-bats and played in 79 games.
