Montoya's Hit Streak Soars to 31 Games: Maine lost to the Windy City Blues 8-7 at Old Port Park today, but Micheal Montoya kept his consecutive-game hitting streak alive with 1 hit. The Guides first baseman has now delivered hits in 31 straight games.

"Micheal has a nice streak going, but the scoreboard tells the important story today," Maine manager Robby Rufe told reporters after the game. "We lost, no matter how many hits anyone had."
Micheal Montoya struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.
